Unusual Hemipristus Tooth from Chile

Size:  Tooth is 1.2 inches long

This is a hard-to-find shark tooth. It is a Hemipristus tooth from Chile. This type of shark is called the "Snaggle-Toothed Shark". This specimen is sharp and has a very large tip and serrations. It has sort of a natural olive-green coloration. This is a nice example of this uncommon Chilean shark tooth.
