This is a large Carcharocles angustidens tooth from the Oligocene. The tooth has a solid, substantial root and nice enamel. The tooth displays the serrations, but they are worn. The tip was rounded off while the shark was feeding. This is an unusual type of Giant White shark tooth from South Carolina.
