Here is a very beautiful shark tooth from South Carolina. This is a killer Carcharocles megalodon tooth from the Hawthorn Formation. This distinct "Meg" tooth is quite wide, has a substantial root, and has the serrations and very tip still intact. The large serrations and pointed tip are nearly perfect and extremely sharp. The tooth has very interesting color - the grey-black enamel is quite cool. This is a top quality tooth from the ancient version of Jaws".
