The root of the tooth is extremely robust and nicely intact. The tooth has very colorful enamel, and the tip of the tooth is quite sharp. Both of the small cusps on the side of the tooth are preserved. Both sides of the dagger-shaped tooth are well preserved and wonderfully displayed. This is a top quality example of an Extinct Mackerel shark tooth.
