Here is a fine fossil shark tooth from South Carolina. This is a cool Carcharocles subauriculatus from the Miocene River Deposits. This distinct tooth has very nice natural color and is quite thick and 3-dimensional. The shiny enamel is well preserved on both sides of the robust tooth. The serrations are extremely sharp, and the tip is also intact. This is a very good specimen of a fossilized shark tooth from the ancient version of ''Jaws''.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
