This is a fabulous example of a hard-to-find fossil shark tooth. It is a beautiful Hemipristus serra tooth from Bone Valley, Florida. This type of shark is called the ''Snaggletooth Shark'', for obvious reasons. This lower tooth has the very desirable "Bone Valley" coloration - the beautiful butterscotch enamel is well displayed. The large tooth has a very solid root, colorful enamel, and very well defined serrations and tip. Both sides of the tooth display extremely well. This is a very collectible example of a large lower Bone Valley Hemipristis tooth - quite striking and very impressive!

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
