This is a killer fossilized Great White Shark tooth. It is a large Carcharodon carcharias tooth from the Miocene of Chile. This species is the same type as today's modern Great White Shark. This specimen is well preserved and exhibits very fine detail. The root of the tooth is quite solid and robust. The tip of the tooth is intact, and the extremely sharp serrations are easily seen. The enamel has a natural butterscotch coloration. This is a collectible example of a large Great White Shark tooth fossil from South America.
