This is a very impressive Great White Shark tooth. It is from the modern Great White Shark, Carcharodon carcharias. This is the famous shark that terrorizes swimmers every year, and is immortalized in the movie, ''Jaws''. This tooth is a lower, having the classic long, pointed shape. The serrations and tip are razor-sharp and almost perfectly intact. The root is complete and robust. This is a large example of a modern Great White Shark tooth.
