This is a very large specimen of a Carcharocles megalodon tooth from Florida. The tooth is four and three quarters inches long - would be much longer if the tip were fully intact. This tooth has beautiful bluish enamel and very nice serrations, along with sone textbook feeding damage. The tooth also has a very inflated, near-perfect root. Nice shark teeth from Bone Vally were very hard to find, but ones this size were almost never found.
