Age:  Miocene
Formation:  Bone Valley Formation
Location:  Bone Valley, Florida

Here is a beautiful Carcharocles megalodon tooth from the Miocene of Bone Valley, Florida. Megalodon teeth from Bone Valley are becoming very difficult to obtain. This tooth has a very solid root, although one corner is damaged. The sharp serrations of the tooth are well displayed, and the very tip of the tooth is nicely intact . The shiny enamel of the tooth is also well preserved - the bluish enamel contrasts wonderfully with the off-white root, making for a stunning display. This is a very nice example of a larger Meg tooth from Florida.

This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
