Here is a very fine fossil shark tooth from South Carolina. This is a colorful Carcharocles megalodon from the Miocene River Deposits. This distinct tooth has a very solid, substantial root. This tooth has great natural color and is very thick and 3-dimensional. The shiny enamel is very well preserved on both sides of the robust tooth. The serrations and tip of the tooth are nicely intact. And at over four and a half inches long, it is an impressive fossil tooth. This is a very displayable specimen of a fossilized shark tooth from the ancient version of ''Jaws''.
