Large 5.3 Inch Meg Tooth from South Carolina
Stock Number  STSCM162

Name:   Carcharocles megalodon Tooth
Age:  Miocene
Formation:  River Deposits
Location:  South Carolina
Size:  Tooth is 5.3 inches long
Price:  SOLD

This is a very large (well over five inches long) Carcharocles megalodon tooth from the Miocene River Deposits of South Carolina. The huge root of this tooth is very solid and substantial. The tooth has great form - the classic triangular shape of the tooth is quite evident. The distinct serrations are sharp and easily seen, and the tip on the tooth is nicely intact. The jet black color of the enamel is both striking and fully natural. It is very hard to find a tooth this large in such nice condition. This is a very large, impressive tooth from this ancient version of ''Jaws''.

This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
