Here is a fine fossil shark tooth from South Carolina. This is a very large (over 5 inches long!) Carcharocles megalodon tooth from the Miocene River Deposits. This tooth is quite long and has the classic arrowhead shape. The root is very solid and substantial, and the serrations are mostly intact and beautifully displayed. The glossy enamel is well preserved, and the greenish-grey tint is quite striking. Both sides of the tooth are nice, either side could be the ''display side''. This is a very good example of a large tooth from this extinct giant white shark. (Reflection is in the photo, not on the tooth.)

This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
